About Jeremy

Jeremy was born in Taunton, Somerset. His parents were both teachers and he has one brother who is a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy. He was educated at Taunton School, Trinity School New York City, Exeter University and the Inns of Court School of Law. He was called to the Bar in 1996 and since then has specialised in Criminal Law, both prosecution and defence, practising in the West Midlands area.

Jeremy has always been interested in politics, and before being selected as the Candidate in Rugby and Kenilworth, was the youngest ever Chairman of Warwick and Leamington Conservative Association. He has also served as a Constituency Vice-Chairman and Ward Chairman.

He is a former National Vice-Chairman of Conservative Students and Chairman of Exeter University Conservative Association.

His proudest political achievement was being elected to represent the people of Rugby and Kenilworth as Member of Parliament in May 2005.

He is married to Yvonne, who works at the University of Warwick, and has recently become the proud father a beautiful daughter called Stephanie. When not busy in Westminster or the constituency, Jeremy's interests include, travel, especially to the USA, music and playing golf badly.
